Instruments of Communication

Final MA project at RCA, composed of a set of furniture seen as a communicative set, in order to help understand how an interaction could be influenced by furniture. The role is not just to create a debate, but also to show how to facilitate one.

A platform that encourages certain types of behaviours by changing forms and arrangement to frame the discussions.
Allowing each person to feel empowered to talk, the objects embrace a system dictating interactions and behaviours before the discussions actually happen.

The positioning of users influence the power dynamics of between them, which therefore, influences the proceedings of the interactions.
