Onko - Admin portal

Onko Health
Clinical Dashboard

Optimisation of the clinical dashboard, helping the clinical team track patients and deliver better care at the right time.

OVERVIEW

This project was part of the enhancement of the clinician’s portal of Onko Health. Onko is a digitally-enabled behaviour change solution to improve quality of life and clinical outcomes for patients, undergoing treatment for cancer and surgery.

Tools: Figma, Microsoft Teams, Miro, Slack

CHALLENGES

  • Getting clinicians feedback while working remotely

  • Making sure the data was clearly labelled for treatment purposes

  • Keeping a high level of confidentiality

GOALS

  • Increase patient’s data usability and accessibility

  • Create alerts when patients report critical symptoms

DEFINE

FOCUS GROUP

By kicking off the project with a focus group, we have been able to size the work needed to enhance the clinical dashboard. Getting feedback from different members of the team has allowed us to understand where we could potentially have quick-wins, but also get a sense of strategy around the bigger subjects/projects found on the portal.

INTERVIEWS

In the space of a couple of weeks, we had managed to speak to different part of the clinical team operating in specific roles, but also the administrative team who were responsible in handling patients data and status on the portal. We realised the number of pain points was considerably high, that users were frustrated and couldn’t find the right information at the right time. They lacked a platform that could group all of their needs.

PROTOTYPING

From low fidelity to high fidelity, the portal was designed with the help of surgeons, nurses and the admin team, making sure we could cover as many functionality as possible. User could now see the most important data at a glance, and react fast if something was reported by a patient.
